The Game that is Called X (Demo)

Welcome Agent to UNIVERSAL DESTRUCTION CORP.™, the universe's largest arms corporation! Set on a distant planet and within a giant corporate tower, take control of Serbia's greatest spy to explore this office-building fever dream and dredge up all kinds of corporate secrets to return to the homeland. Just try to not draw too much attention...

The Game that is Called X is can be best described as an adventure spy game set in a schizo, almost-liminal office building with many comedic/absurdist elements and possibly some scares, especially if the power goes out. This is a 3-level 'demo' of the game, as in, it is a finished 3 levels where a 'full version' of the game might be 15 levels. The levels in the demo are complete and beating all 3 levels generally takes about 2 hours the first time (maybe a half hour when you know what you're doing).

There are many secrets that can be uncovered in the game, including hidden doors to secret employee break rooms, a sealed room with a funny button that you should press, several rare NPC interactions that can lead to hilarious/disastrous outcomes, and, of course, an entire bloody game show, WTWWI.

As you are Serbia's greatest spy, you are great at blending in as an intern inside of corporate HQ... the only problem is that UNIVERSAL DESTRUCTION CORP.™ treats captured war criminals better than their interns, and if you are caught, you will be killed with great brutality...

But in The Game that is Called X, you don't have to play it quietly... while it is easy to be discovered when attempting to complete your mission, being discovered doesn't mean caught. If you are clever or simply lucky, you can find many ways to escape from danger, including hiding in air vents, distracting pursuers, and even spraying them with amnesia gas... and even spraying them with amnesia gas... and even spray--oh sorry, anyway... If you want to stand your ground and really stick it to the corporate machine, you can fight management with Lever-Action Rifles, Break-Action .50 Cal Handguns, and even hired help!

Just make sure to not cause so much trouble that something much more... violent comes to stop you...
